Turks and Caicos Islands Demarcation Buoys

Each Access Lane is comprised of two Starboard and two Port buoys. Access Lanes run at a 90 degree angel to the Beach. The distance between Port and Starboard buoys is 100 feet and the overall length of an Access Lane is 330 feet. Watercraft accessing the beach must use Access Lanes as follows:

Approach the outermost buoys keeping close to the Starboard buoy in order to allow other craft to exit and to avoid collision.
   
Starboard Access Lane Buoy (Green) must be to the right of the craft while entering the lane to access the beach.

Port Access Lane Buoy (Red) must be to the left of the craft while entering the access lane to the beach.
   
Park Boundary, Training Zone and Swim Zone Boundaries

These white buoys with red stripes are plainly labeled to delineate National Park Boundaries, safe swimming areas and Scuba and snorkeling training areas.
   
Dive & Snorkel Mooring Marker
Areas for safe SCUBA diving and snorkeling are marked b this white buoy with a blue stripe.
   
Scientific Monitoring Marker

This buoy demarcates areas under scientific Study. Please avoid these areas.
